Bishop Fredrik Hansen has announced that the Diocese of Oslo will hold its first diocesan synod before the Jubilee of St Olaf in 2030. Stressing that a synod is “not a democratic meeting”, he said questions of Church doctrine, faith and morals will not be put to a vote.
