A young couple, staff members of the Israeli Embassy in Washington, D.C., Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim, were murdered Wednesday night after leaving an event at the Capital Jewish Museum. The suspect, Elias Rodriguez of Chicago, allegedly opened fire on a group of four people before entering the museum and shouting, "Free, free Palestine, free, free Palestine." U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, Senator John Thune, and Israeli leaders expressed outrage and grief, calling the attack part of a disturbing rise in antisemitic violence. Boston University student Eduardo Kornworcel, who was attending the Orthodox Union Advocacy Center's training on confronting antisemitism just a few blocks from the shooting, joins to share his reaction to the devastating news. He discusses what he has learned about the shooting, what he sees daily in terms of antisemitism, and the efforts underway to fight it.
