The wise virgins knew that the marriage negotiations between the bridegroom and bride would go on because they understood the value and esteem with which the bridegroom held the bride. The foolish virgins didn't pay any notice. Jesus loves the Church as a bridegroom loves his wife, how much do we value and appreciate his immense love for us?
