As we enter the solemn period leading toward a defining moment in the life of our community, we kindly ask you to accompany us in prayer.
In June 2026, the entire canonry of St. Michael’s Abbey will gather in chapter to elect the third abbot of our monastery, successor to Abbot Eugene J. Hayes — the new prelate who will be entrusted with guiding our abbey in its sacred mission.

We ask your prayers for the fathers as they seek the light of the Holy Spirit: for clarity of mind, unity of heart, and the grace to discern the one called to bear the quiet weight of the abbatial crozier.
